Greentown Downtown Master Plan

The process to develop this plan began in January 2015 at the Greentown Fire House. That evening, an informational meeting was held to introduce the proposed Greentown Downtown Master Plan Project. Following that initial session, three community meetings, numerous steering committee discussions, and extensive collaboration took place.

This plan marks the start of a long and meaningful process to help shape the future of our community. While it contains valuable data, ideas, and creative perspectives on the future development of Greentown’s Downtown, it is only the first step in a much larger journey—and as the saying goes, the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

For this process to succeed, we’ll need the active participation of business owners, residents, community organizations, and other engaged partners to keep progress moving forward. We encourage you to get involved. Every improvement effort relies on volunteers, and one of the most impactful ways to contribute is to be part of the process itself.
