Right to Know Law

Etopia Township is committed to transparency and public access to government information in accordance with the state’s Right to Know Law. Residents and interested parties have the right to inspect, review, and request copies of public records, including meeting minutes, ordinances, resolutions, contracts, and other official documents.

Requests for public records can be submitted in writing to the Township Clerk, specifying the documents sought. Etopia Township strives to respond to requests promptly and in compliance with statutory timeframes. Certain records may be subject to exemptions under the law to protect privacy, security, or other sensitive information.
