Noise Control Ordinance

This ordinance establishes limits on excessive noise within the Township of Etopia to protect public health and quality of life. Loud or unreasonable noise is prohibited between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., except for emergency services. Special permits may be issued for temporary events. Violations may result in fines or other penalties as provided by law.

Property Maintenance Ordinance

This ordinance requires all property owners in Etopia to maintain buildings and grounds in a safe and sanitary condition. Accumulation of debris, unsafe structures, and overgrown vegetation are prohibited. The Township may issue notices of violation and establish compliance deadlines. Failure to comply may result in enforcement action or fines.

Parking Regulation Ordinance

This ordinance regulates parking on public streets and municipal lots within the Township of Etopia. Parking is prohibited in posted no-parking zones and during snow emergencies. Time-limited parking may be enforced in designated areas. Violations are subject to fines or vehicle towing.

Stormwater Management Ordinance

This ordinance establishes requirements for stormwater control to reduce flooding and protect local waterways. New development and redevelopment projects must incorporate approved stormwater management practices. Property owners are responsible for maintaining stormwater facilities on their property. The Township may conduct inspections to ensure compliance.

Public Park Use Ordinance

This ordinance governs the use of public parks and facilities owned by the Township of Etopia. Activities such as alcohol consumption, littering, and vandalism are prohibited unless expressly permitted. Park hours are established from dawn to dusk unless otherwise posted. Violations may result in fines or removal from township property.
